The following is a prank which we are pulling on liberals:

January 20th, 2009:

GAHAHAHAAhaha....  Ted Kennedy's seat belongs to the people once again.   Welcome back to the Union Massachusetts!  As most of you know, last night Scott Brown rolled his truck right over Coakley's campaign.  The conservative side sleeps well and prepares for the next conflict.  The liberals, for now, are openly distraught about the election results.

I don't know about the rest of you, but personally I never watch MSNBC or CNN - except on nights when the left gets creamed big.  Last night the antics were hilarious.  Right now the spin is that Coakley didn't do enough and treated her primary as a coronation.  There is also the absurd claim going about that voters were mad that Obama was trying too hard to be a moderate and not getting enough done.  People voted against "Marsha Croakley" last night because they really were voting for the change that they expected Obama to deliver.  They want to see the change.

HAHAHAHAHA.... Yeah right.   The problem is that we have seen the change Obama promises.  This Day by Day comic sums it all... (Check out more in our humor section)

I fully expect the left to push ahead on health care, but I have confidence now more than ever that there will be a backlash.  We must not be complacent.  We must keep up the heat.  Today we have a good video about some of the stuff coming out in H.R. 3200.  Review it and remember that last night was but one battle in the ongoing war to crush the Obama menace.

January 19th, 2009:

Voters are voting in Massachusetts! Polls in the Commonwealth are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. and conventional wisdom has gelled that state Sen. Scott Brown (R) enters election day as the slight favorite to pull an upset.

9 percent of voters say they’d already cast a ballot through absentee voting. Brown leads Coakley among this group 58-42.

9:42 EST - VICTORY FOR BROWN....  THE CONSERVATIVES HAVE WON THE DAY.

January 14th, 2009:

As an honors graduate of Biochemistry, I am reasonably familiar with biology.  Hence, one might say that I have a reasonable understanding of evolution.  In my humble opinion, the theory behind evolution comes out of reasonable logic and there is much evidence in support of it.  With that said, it drives me crazy to see how something like evolution is tramped around as the science that disproves God or something. Dictator states have shaped eugenics policies around it,  dubious "creation" museums try to tell you that you will go to hell if you accept it.  There is quite a bit of controversy behind an overly simplistic theory.

First let me come clean and tell you what I believe. I believe that there is a God.  I also think evolution is a useful theory that offers another way to interpret of God's universe.  Now with that in mind, allow me to share with you a brief overview of a universe seen with biochemistry.

In order for life as we know it to exist, a number of enzymatic processes must work in tandem and be regulated.  Enzymes are extremely large by chemistry standards - they are structures that are composed of individual molecules known as amino acids.

These amino acids come together with each other to form unique chains (what scientists call peptide chains.) These chains fold and arrange themselves in ways that allow an enzyme to function.  Consider actin, a relatively simple enzyme needed for muscle movement.

Each little turn in each of those helices consists of several amino acids. (Usually about three per turn.)  So imagine how many amino acids must be in a structure like this.  Hundreds... Thousands?  Guess what.  This is just one "subunit" of a larger actin molecule.

These actin molecules come together to form even larger structures.  In order for a muscle to contract however, one needs more than actin.  One needs other structures like myosin and tropomyosin.

These structures need to arrange themselves even further in ways that allow productive contraction. You may already be familiar with the term sacromere.

Now you kind of have a little idea of what the engine of a muscle fiber looks like, but you really don't know how it is turned on or controlled...  That looks even more crazy.

Each of those bubbles represents some kind of peptide, enzyme or other structure that takes part in the massive machine that is man.  All of this before one even gets to questions like how the nervous system controls your muscles.

The details that could be added to this picture seem overwhelming.   I could spend the rest of my life elaborating to great lengths about the various processes we have elucidated thus far about life and even that would be a drop in the bucket.

In physical chemistry there is a form of statistics that concerns itself with the probability of molecular events occurring. The amount of order inherent to the systems above is just so staggering that it defies simple random selection.  Darwinian evolution does not apply well to simple molecular selection.  Even if there is a system of survival of the "fittest proteins," it is difficult to see how all of this just fell together to form a working organism.  You can shake a bag of bolts and rubber for a zillion years and not get a car.  Life is a million times more complex than a car.

In my humble opinion, the origin of life must have relied on some very unique circumstances.

That such order arouse in a universe of entropy is a miracle.  The number of factors necessary for chemistry like this to occur is similarly staggering. Did you know that Crick (You know of Watson and Crick) believed that DNA was so complex, that in his book, Life Itself, Crick proposed that the basic genetic structure of bacterial DNA was seeded from outer space.  In a sense, some might say that Crick believed in aliens as the origin of life.  (That doesn't really anwser the question though does it?)

Is it crazy to believe that there might be something higher than us in the universe? Is it crazy to think that maybe the universe has a fundamental order that goes beyond our understanding?

I am not going to argue for intelligent design. I am not going to try to persuade you that life is not just a coincidence. I just wanted to share with you a vision of what I saw studying biochemistry.  The next time you hear somebody spout off a random talking point about evolution, just stop and think about how amazing life is.

January 8th, 2009:

We here at Fortscribe are tired of hearing Obama blame Bush, the "system" and honorable intelligence agents for failures to stop terrorism.   Obama is the commander in chief now.  His job is not to redistribute our wealth or force grandma to take the pain pill.  His job is to keep us safe and vote on the bills that pass through congress.  After 9-11 the intelligence community under Bush kept us safe.    Will we be able to say the same under the Obama administration?

Rather than trying to cover up the numerous concerns we have over "healthcare reform;"  rather than lie about the blatant corruption of the stimulus bill, the media should be looking into why we can blame the Obama administration for failures in the intelligence community.

This is not a difficult angle to investigate.  We here at Fortscribe have spoken with many people with interesting insight into the intelligence sector.  We know that Bush went to great lengths to give intelligence agencies the tools and permission they would need to directly act on their own.   As any commander can tell you, often successful intelligence operations required our intelligence experts to take the initiative.  In a field where situations can change rapidly, streamlined procedures with clear chains of command allow for rapid response.  Even the lowest grunt must be capable of exercising a certain degree of sound judgment;  when they learn something they must take the initiative and take the steps that prevent terrorism.  Each added link in the chain of command adds slows down response time.

As should be evident to all, Obama's administration is power hungry.   In their elitism they think that they are the only ones gifted enough to act appropriately.   Think back to how President Johnson used to individually plan airstrikes in Vietnam rather than leave this to his generals? Think about how Obama handled the Somali pirate situation.  Liberals like to centralize power to themselves.  They ensure that they place themselves in many extra links to the chain of command.

While the "diffusion of responsibility" associated with an unyielding liberal bureaucracy is terrible enough, sometimes we here at Fortscribe fear that Obama's goons want to weaken our country intentionally.   For indeed,  Obama's goons blame America for many of the world's woes.  They even persecute those who take the initiative to stop terrorism themselves.

Notice that under Obama, there have been many who have looked to punish those who have kept our country safe.  Honorable servicemen have been accused of torture and barbarism.  Foreign terrorists are offered rights that traditionally reserved for American citizens.  Some radicals even work to find ways to prosecute the Bush administration for "war crimes."  What a joke.

What message do you think the Obama cult is sending to our intelligence experts?   Nobody wants to go out on a limb and be a victim for the Obama administration.   Even when actionable intelligence is available to many in the early steps of the chain of command; those who should have the authority to act are scared of persecution or must put up with the incompetent Obama administration.

As we all know, our Healthcare system sucks. We are behind Cuba and other Caribbean paradises like Haiti.  In this time of tragedy, I think it best not to make light of serious situations.   People are dying!  We need to send people to Haiti now to get socialized Healthcare.

This will bring a smile to your face : )

April 21st, 2010:

Ravi has now officially committed to building a "UAV" helicopter.  As those of you who follow Ravi's Build Log know, recently he has done been making great progress in his endeavor to perfect a 3D reconstruction program that interprets the information from CCD sensors.   Coupled with the WorldWindapplication from NASA, Ravi has come a long way in developing the crucial elements necessary for an aerial navigation system.  Its a very ambitious project to say the least.

The Railgun Project has a new home now, in the lab of Fortscribe's Perankhscribe.   While Ravi has created a wonderful device, there are still some things we can do to make the project more powerful.   Perankhscribe hopes to engineer an energy storage device known as a Compulsator to more efficiently drive the rail gun.   Although many designs rely on modifying automotive engines; several interesting custom possibilities come to mind assuming one has access to an ultra-centrifuge and a full machine shop.  This idea is still in its half-baked stage but we will be getting back to you soon.

April 4th, 2010:

April 3rd, 2010:

Dr. Jack Cassell, a practicing urologist in Mount Dora, is so incensed about the passage of the healthcare
overhaul that he posted a sign on his office door directing Obama voters “to seek care “elsewhere.”

Fortscribe would like to use today to celebrate our historic 44th president.  Although Fortscribe typically attacks Obama for various failings, the truth is that today is a nice day. The world has not come to an end.  Rather than allowing ourselves to continue spewing mean propaganda for the right wing extremists, we here at Fortscribe would like to reach across the aisle and acknowledge the great things Obama has done for our country.

The doctor’s sign reads in full: “If you voted for Obama … seek urologic care elsewhere. Changes to your healthcare begin right now, not in four years.”

Some liberals in the media would like to claim that this doctor is violating his hippocratic oath or breaking some ethical rules.  Well before everyone jumps on that band wagon, we think you should actually read the original hippocratic oath.  I realize that liberals believe that it is unethical to have an opinion that disagrees with the president's plan for the country, but it is fully within Dr. Cassell's rights to let people know what he thinks. Dr. Cassell is not denying care to those in need.  “I’m not turning anybody away — that would be unethical,” said Cassell. “But if they read the sign and turn the other way, so be it.”

The people with a real lack of ethics are those who are going to make efforts to hurt the practice of Dr. Cassell by spreading lies about him.  The real perpetrators of injustice are those that passed Obamacare against the will of the American people.  People that lie through their teeth about what this plan really means for the American people.

Consider the following:

Liberals have been preaching that doctors must emphasize "quality over quantity." Various aspects of healthcare reform have sought to get more doctors paid through something similar to a salary based system.  Obama himself would like doctors to be paid based on outcome.  (Hear his eloquent explanation about why doctors would prefer to amputate rather than properly manage diabetes to line their pockets.)  Perhaps that sounds reasonable to some, but lets use our brains for a second.

When certain people think that they have entitlement to healthcare, they sign up in droves to take advantage of so called "free care."  It is already happening at some hospitals, some people are showing up expecting free coverage since healthcare reform passed.  The problem is not that people want to see the doctor.  The problem is that we don't have enough doctors to adequately handle both the truly needy and a bunch of people who think they are entitled to free health care.  Thomas Paine said it best, what we obtain too cheap, we esteem too light.  If we were intellectually honest we would have to acknowledge that many will now be wasting the doctor's time because they think they need to get the worth of their taxes.   My point here is not to complain that more people will show up to get healthcare.  In theory this is what we wanted.   What I wanted firmly established is that this aspect of Obamacare emphasizes quantity.

Surely we can increase the quantity of patients and still increase quality, right?  Well lets see how the democrats will achieve that. Democrats would like to make reimbursement for doctors based on outcome.  Ultimately they must create a standard reimbursement policy like any insurance company.  Yet if socialist Europe is any indication, they will only reimburse the doctor if they follow cookie-cutter protocols.  They will put a lot of pressure on doctors to only use the cheap medications and procedures.  Sure they will try to say that the dictated protocols will be "evidence based."  They may use some kind of QALY statistical approach to standardize medicine.  Sounds great right?  Wrong.  The people controlling that will still be in the government.  Do you know why so many pharmaceutical companies supported Obamacare?  Who do you think will get priority on government approved treatment plans?

The truth is that we already have a way to standardize the care people receive from a doctor.   We call it medical school and the United States Medical Licensing Exam.  A competent professional should have the ability to consider a patient's individual needs and have the ability to create their own appropriate treatment protocols to manage their patients.  Certainly doctors have some absolutely mandatory standards and protocols, but that is very different from being told what options we will be reimbursed for.  Liberals like to point out that this is a flaw with many private insurance companies, but how much worse will it be when the government is the primary insurance company?

When government cookie-cutter plans inevitably fail for certain patients, will doctors be reimbursed well for the extra time we take to truly treat a patient?  Probably not if they have a mountain of other patients to see and no extra incentive.  Lets compare this situation to another liberal run disaster - education.  We all know how great salaried teachers are when they have extremely large classes.  We all know that most teachers take the extra time to address the unique students with difficulties.  When you treat students and patients like cattle, at some point even those with the best intentions become disenfranchised.  Doctors and teachers may have altruistic ambitions, but that doesn't mean they don't have human needs. Don't expect your favorite private practice doctor to want to stay in medicine for very long when they cannot "FOLLOW that system of regimen which, according to my ability and judgment, I consider for the benefit of my patients."

The truth is however that I have met doctors who can thrive under Obamacare.  There is a kind of doctor, one that can come to snap judgments, deal with just the most basic and simple issues a patient has and move on.  Allow me to propose the following hypothetical situation:

Assume a doctor will personally receive 5$/patient in government reimbursement. (Currently as low as 2$ for certain pediatric patients.)  Lets assume the government also manages all the other costs like testing kits and vaccines.

A snap-judgment kind of doctor can see a large number of patients, glance at the patient's history and prescribe the government approved medication.  If you see a lot of people, the government approved medication will work often enough to deal with the bread and butter cases.  If such a doctor can see fifty patients in a day, they might be able get 125$/day after Obama taxes.  Not bad money for some, but a less than ideal return for the 200,000 dollar investment in medical school.  I am sure medical students will be rushing to government indentured servant plans to cover the costs of medical school.   That is exactly what I want in my doctor.  Somebody who can assess me in five minutes and give me my antibiotics.  I am sure they will be able to catch psycho-social issues like depression,  premarital sex or drug abuse in five minutes.  Hell, I am sure they will identify other possible underlying conditions besides the bread and butter stuff.  All of a sudden it appears that quality will suffer.  In spite of the liberal claim of wanting "quality over quantity,"  it would appear that Obamacare prefers quantity over quality.

Everything I have written comes out of the logic that the liberals proudly preach.  I just take their ideas and project  the logical outcome.  To be a doctor one must have more than good intentions,  they must also understand their treatments and disease process well enough to predict potential outcomes of their decisions. It is clear to me that the average liberal politician who bought into this garbage lacks the ability to adequately understand and treat our healthcare system.  What makes them think they know better than the real doctors who use critical analysis every day?  Real doctors don't rush through important decisions the way the Dr. Obama rushed to pass healthcare reform.   The doctors who actually PROVIDE healthcare are entitled to hate Obamacare.  They are justified in expressing their opinion.   Opposing incompetent treatments like Obamacare is the ETHICAL thing to do.  Dr. Cassell, I salute you.

April 2nd, 2010:

A follow up to yesterday's "April Fool's" joke. We should have added that Obama has restored America's respect in the world.

April 1st, 2010:

Remarkable improvements in education:

Improvements in the economy:

Creation of a Post Racial Environment
through the acceptance of
different viewpoints:

"I shall never fight in the armed forces with a Negro by my side... Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds. ”

— Robert C. Byrd:   Democrat of West Virgina, Oldest Living Senator and a Vote for Obama Healthcare.

Obama has restored the respect our country lost under the Bush administration:

Obama brought honor to our country
by bringing us the Olympics
and winning the Nobel Peace Prize:

Obama has reached out to us with open arms and we should take his hand.

DO WE REALLY HAVE TO SAY:  APRIL FOOLS?  Nah....  Our readers are not that gullible.  To believe any of the above you would have to be a real fool.

On another note, we have a new article from Lewstherin. This time he discusses multiculturalism as an enemy within our nation

March 24th, 2010:

Yesterday we announced our little "Obama-Money" prank as part of an ongoing campaign to help spread the conservative message and remind people to oust the democrats come election time.  Some of our members have decided to be creative and came up with some other uses of "Obama money."

March 23rd, 2010:

Today we are launching our new campaign to end the Obama menace.  While last nights defeat was appalling to behold, we know that the harder the conflict; the more glorious the triumph.  This has merely strengthened our resolve to stand firm and fight to take our country back.

The question is how? The last few months we have rallied, organized and yet the leftists in power continue to ignore us.  Its time to ratchet up our efforts to a whole new level.

The battle plan must involve the following:

1)  We must organize like never before to take back Washington in November.  No doubt before coming here you took the first step.  Our hope is that by coming here you have taken another.  After you finish reading this piece, please go to http://conservativeschatroom.homestead.com/mod.html There you will find conservative organizers who are on 24/7.  Some will have further information on the ways you can get involved in your area.  (Plus it is heartening to meet other conservatives who share your dissatisfaction.)

2)  We must look for ways to neutralize the tactics the left will use to enforce their new laws.  We must make them work hard to enact their garbage. Do you really want your tax money to go to pay for the abortion of somebody else?  At this point I will not elaborate on how we will do this; suffice it to say that we each must resist by whatever means we can conscientiously do.  As we learn of various exploits or means by which people are fighting back, we will list them in our "Situation Report."

3)  Perhaps most important for us today. We must send a message to our comrades in arms that we have not surrendered.  Right now the silly leftist hellspawn cavort with glee.  They probably think that they have stuck it to us in a way we cannot recover from.  Let them be arrogant; the danger is greatest when one underestimates their opponent.  They underestimate us.  It will be their downfall.

Each of us must find our own way to achieve these ends, but we here at Fortscribe.com have come up with our own novel idea for the time being.  Behold - The Obama 9-dollar bill...

Yes, I know what you might be thinking: It disgusts me as well to see his face.  Regardless, this interesting novelty item can be quite useful to spread our message.  At a quick glace these bills seem pretty real.  Of course the idea of a 9-dollar bill is absurd, but folded up right nobody can tell the difference.

Now imagine that you take said fold bill and plant it on the floor of your local superstore?  No doubt somebody will come around and pick it up right?

Lets also say that on the folded inside there is a message: a joke of some kind.  Maybe something cute like "Obama - The Gift that Keeps on Giving."  Perhaps one could also add a message telling others where to meet. Perhaps a message like "Want to Fight Back - goto Fortscribe.com?"   You don't have to put it quite like that; imagine the possibilities and be creative.

What happens then is totally dependent on who picks it up.  A leftist will probably be bummed out that he was suckered into picking up a bill with "No Monetary Value" (Exactly like our president has no value.)   Conservatives on the other hand will probably be glad their countrymen are fighting back.  Some may even come here and check us out. I say its worth the small effort.  If you agree, you can buy stacks of fake Obama 9-dollar bills at: http://www.thegag.com/barack-obama-9-dollar-novelty-bil9.html  Once you have a few, you can always copy more and save on the cost.

If you have read this far and are new to Fortscribe, please take the time to explore.  We cover quite a bit from politics to science and engineering.  You may really enjoy our humor section if you are here because of Obama's healthcare reform. Also, don't disavow yourself of the chance to link to America's number one conservative chat room.  http://conservativeschatroom.homestead.com/mod.html There you will find conservative organizers who are on literally 24/7.  Thanks for stopping by, welcome to the Alliance to Win Back America.

March 22rd, 2010:

Today we offer you an insightful piece from an outside contributor.  In his piece he argues why the cold war is still ongoing.  Many of us honor Reagan as the bringer of victory in the cold war; perhaps however we remember history wrong when we ask who the real winners were.  Check it out in our political section entitled:  "The Ongoing Cold War."

March 21st, 2010:

The heretics that have wrought forth this mephistophelian bastard child of "Healthcare Reform" celebrate in a putrid orgy tonight.  The devil has great patience, his poison has been brewing for a great time to achieve such potency.  Indeed, the sad truth is that many of our countrymen have become complacent to have allowed this.  Far too many have lost the zeal to fight for for freedom. Yet hope remains.

Hope and despair go hand in hand.  In the time since the Dark One was elected, Americans have started to open their eyes.  This deal was supposed to be a sure thing for the democrats, they wanted to pass it furtively under the guise of a quick victory.  Remember how we were supposed to have reform last August?  Remember how Ol' Kennedy, great advocate of healthcare reform died; opening his seat in Massachusetts to a Republican victory?  What fate decreed that he should pass away at such a key time?  Why would the very rules he used to cajole power suddenly be used against his very seat?  The universe offers interesting coincidences.

These last few months have been eye-opening for Americans.   Americans are waking up.  Had this passed last August, would all of America really have had a good chance to see the Democrats for what they were?  Conservatives of course saw through Obama's schemes, but lackadaisical efforts like those of John McCain were not enough to truly expose the Obama menace.  This last year has been.

Some of you are feeling despair right now.  You hear the witches like Pelosi, or the shallow liberal commentators yacking it up.  While they bask in their own self-glory they overlook the possibility of pyrrhic victory.

Don't fall for the lie that we can't return to what is right.  That we can't undo this monstrosity.  As there is a God in Heaven so also will we find the way.  Our troops have assembled, but they lose heathen.  Now all of us must be like Captains before our fellow man.  Captains must smile, even knowing the great hardships to come.  We must inspire others to have hope - to fight back.  We are the real change.  We true Citizens of America and Children of God know that hope is something well beyond the pejorative Obama spouts.

Your duty is clear.  Find your fellow citizens and let them know its time to regroup.  Inspire them that not all is lost. We will reform the lines, stronger, harder... We shall not falter.  Send a message to these leftists in any way the Lord shows you that  we will not be defeated!  We shall cry out in a voice so loud that even the false god Obama shall be deafened by the roar! Fight on my brethren, for the tides are turning.  The war is still on.

(If you found this helpful, please pass it on.)
